Biography
A Representative from Nebraska. Born in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebr. , January 29, 1962. Graduated from Omaha Northwest High School, Omaha, Nebr. , 1980. B. A. , University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebr. , 1984. J. D. , Creighton Law School, Omaha, Nebr. , 1987. Member of the Omaha, Nebr. , city council, 1991-1998. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Sixth and to the seven succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1999-January 3, 2015). Was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Fourteenth Congress in 2014.
