Peter Fitzgerald

Attended St. Theresa Catholic Elementary School in Palatine, Illinois, and Portsmouth Abbey, a Catholic secondary school in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. A. Practiced as a corporate lawyer and general counsel in Chicago. Illinois state senator 1993-1998. Elected as a Republican to the U. S. Senate in 1998 and served from January 3, 1999, to January 3, 2005. Was not a candidate for reelection in 2004. Bank founder and chairman. Is a resident of McLean, Virginia.
