Unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the One Hundred Sixteenth Congress in 2018. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Seventeenth Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of United States Representative Ron Wright, and reelected to the two succeeding Congresses (July 27, 2021-present).
