Member of the Arkansas state house of representatives, 2010-2014, majority leader, 2013-2014. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fourteenth and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2015-present). Chair, Committee on Natural Resources (One Hundred Eighteenth and One Hundred Nineteenth Congresses).
