A Representative from New York. Born in New York, New York County, N. Y. , May 2, 1941. Graduated from Richmond Hill High School, Richmond Hill, N. Y. B. A. , St. John’s University, New York, N. Y. United States Army, 1962-1964. Businessman. Unsuccessful candidate for election to the United States House of Representatives in 2010. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth Congress, by special election to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of United States Representative Anthony D. Weiner (September 13, 2011-January 3, 2013). Not a candidate for reelection in 2012, but was an unsuccessful candidate for nomination for the United States Senate.
