Biography
A Representative from New York. Born in New York, New York County, N. Y. , February 7, 1970. Graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School, Briarwood, New York, 1988. B. B. A, Baruch College, City University of New York, N. Y. , 1994. J. D. New York Law School, New York, N. Y. , 2002. United States Marine Corps, 1989-1990. United States Marine Corps Reserve, 1990-1997. Federal Bureau of Investigation, 1997-2006, business owner. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2011-January 3, 2015). Re-elected to the One Hundred Fourteenth Congress, but did not take his seat, resigning on January 5, 2015, prior to the opening of the new Congress. Convicted on August 10, 2015, of aiding and assisting in the preparation of false and fraudulent tax returns. Sentenced to federal prison and ordered to pay restitution. Unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the One Hundred Sixteenth Congress in 2018. Full pardon by President Donald J. Trump on May 28, 2025.
