Elected simultaneously as a Democrat to the One Hundred Fifteenth and the One Hundred Sixteenth Congresses, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of United States Representative Patrick Meehan, and reelected to the three succeeding Congresses (November 6, 2018-present).
