Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eleventh and to the five succeeding Congresses until his resignation on January 13, 2020 (January 3, 2009-January 13, 2020). Convicted on March 17, 2020, of conspiracy. Full pardon granted by President Donald J. Trump on December 22, 2020.
