Unsuccessful candidate for election to One Hundred and Ninth Congress in 2004. Elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Tenth Congress (January 3, 2007-January 3, 2009). Unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Eleventh Congress in 2008. Unsuccessful candidate for election to the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress in 2024.
