Wyoming - Session 2026
Title: Absconding for criminal purposes-criminal offense.
This bill would create the criminal offense of absconding for criminal purposes, which a person commits by traveling from one county in Wyoming to another county in Wyoming or another jurisdiction outside of Wyoming after having committed another crime, with the intent to commit an additional crime, or to dispose or conceal the proceeds of another crime. The penalty for this new offense would be the same as the penalty for the most serious crime that was committed or intended to be committed.
