Summary

ON APRIL 14, 2025, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #2 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 308, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #2 rewrites the bill to, instead, make the following revisio ns to present law:  Establishes each of the following as a "premier type tourist resort"" that can offer liquor by the drink:  North Star Nature Suites '  Studio 154 and VOCE  Intown Golf  Dream Hotel – Nashville  MidCity Nashville  Tennessee National Golf Club  LUNCH restaurant - Sewanee; Franklin County  McEwen Northside Apartments and Franklin Park  Franklin Social  Harmony Senior Living  Blakeford Retirement Center  Covenant Health Park  Hotel Pontotoc  Cherokee Creek Farm  Firefly Premier Golf Course  The Club at Kings Chapel  Ridge Outdoor Resort in Sevierville  Establishes each of the following as an ""urban park center"" that can offer liquor by the drink:  The Truth  Municipal Auditorium  Brooklyn Bowl  Establishes the Frist Museum as a museum that can offer liquor by the drink.  Clarifies that, for purposes of establishing ""commercial airline travel clubs"" that can offer liquor by the drink, such term also means an organization established and operated by or for a terminal building of a commercial air carrier airport for the convenience and comfort of airline passengers .  Clarifies that, for purposes of establishing ""commercial airline travel clubs"" that can offer liquor by the drink, such a club may hold one or more such licenses or may grant a franchise to one or more entities for any or all such licenses as long as the license fee required to be paid by the clubs must be paid for each separate facility that may be covered under a license ."
