ON MARCH 31, 2025, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BI LL 299, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 removes the requirement in the bill that the three members appointed by the governor had to each come from different grand divisions in this state.
