Summary

ON MARCH 23, 2026, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 2363, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 e xcludes short-term rentals from this bill, applies this bill's disclosure requirements to hotel websites, and clarifies that the disclosure requirements apply with regard to hotels located in Tennessee. This amendment adds that, i f a hotel booking site or third-party booking site includes information about ancillary hotel services available at a hotel and the cost of the room is higher relative to the cost of other rooms at the hotel due to the cost including access to some, or al l, of the services, then the hotel booking site or third-party booking site must make the same disclosures as required for ancillary hotel services for which an additional charge is required .
