ON APRIL 16, 2026, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 2295, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites the bill to, instead, impose an additional 10% tax on a h emp-derived cannabinoid product's wholesale cost if the product is inhalable in cartridge form .
