Summary

This bill would amend the laws that were enacted in Public Law 2025, chapter 388 governing municipal reporting on residential building permits, dwelling units permitted and demolished and certificates of occupancy issued. It would change the reporting deadline and the information required to be reported and direct the Maine Office of Community Affairs to encourage, but not require, municipalities with fewer than 4,000 residents to participate in the reporting.
