Summary

This Amendment to House Bill No. 242 changes the extended property tax payment deadline from October 30, 2025 to November 30, 2025. This Amendment also clarifies that State Division I funds requested by a school district in the event of a cash flow shortfall due to the extension of the deadline for tax payments for the 2025-2026 school tax year may be advanced by the State.
