Member, Bellingham Housing Authority. Elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-sixth and to the seven succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1979-January 3, 1995). Not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Fourth Congress. Died on April 20, 2018, in Alexandria, Va.
