And J. D. , Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, N. Y. , 1964. Admitted to the New York bar, 1964 and commenced practice in New York City. Admitted to the Florida bar, 1972. Elected to the Florida house of representatives, 1978-1982. Chairman, planning and zoning board, Hollywood, Fla. , 1974-1978. Delegate to seven Democratic National Conventions from 1980 to 2004. Elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-eighth and to the four succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1983-January 3, 1993). Was not a candidate for renomination in 1992 to the One Hundred Third Congress.
