Registrar of wills and clerk of orphans court in Chester County, Pa. , 1967-1969. Member, Pennsylvania house of representatives, 1969-1974. Elected as a Republican to the Ninety-fourth and to the eight succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1975-January 3, 1993). Was not a candidate for renomination to the One Hundred Third Congress in 1992. Is a resident of Arlington, Va. And Windermere, Fla.
