Biography
A Representative from Florida. Born in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida, on October 18, 1959. Graduated from Lakeland Senior High School, Lakeland, Fla. , 1977. B. S. , Auburn University, Auburn, Ala. J. D. , Samford University, Birmingham, Ala. Lawyer, private practice. Member of the Florida state house of representatives, 2000-2008. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2011-January 3, 2019). Was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Sixteenth Congress in 2018.
