Elected as a Republican to the Ninety-third and to the nine succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1973-January 3, 1993). Was not a candidate for renomination in 1992 to the One Hundred Third Congress. Died on October 13, 2008, in West Caldwell, N. J. Interment at Saint Teresa Cemetery, Summit, N. J.
