A Representative from Maine. Born in Lewiston, Maine, July 7, 1951. Graduated Phillips Academy. Graduated Holy Cross and University of Maine Law School. Personal assistant to the late Governor James B. Longley. U. S. Marines, 1976. Attorney and small business person. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fourth Congress (January 3, 1995-January 3, 1997). Was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Fifth Congress. Unsuccessful candidate for governor in 1998.
