Admitted to the bar in 1953 and commenced the practice of law in Clifton, N. J. Municipal chairman, Clifton, N. J. , 1980-1985. Member, New Jersey State assembly, 1971-1976. Executive director, Passaic County Democratic Committee, 1977-1981. Elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Third Congress (January 3, 1993-January 3, 1995). Unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Fourth Congress. Died on November 24, 2023. Interment at King Solomon Memorial Park, Clifton, N. J.
