A. , Marshall University, Huntington, W. Va. , 1976. Agriculture and coal mining businessman. Company founder and chief executive officer. Governor of West Virginia 2017-2025. Elected as a Republican to the United States Senate in 2024 for the term ending January 3, 2031.
