Biography
A Representative from Florida. Born in Augusta, Richmond County, Ga. , May 5, 1941. Graduated, Deland High School, Fla. , 1959. B. S. , Stetson University, 1963. Served in the National Guard and United States Army Reserve, 1963-1969. J. D. , Stetson University law School, 1967. Admitted to the bar the same year and commenced practice in Deland. Commissioner, Deland Housing Authority, 1971-1975. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred First and One Hundred Second Congresses (January 3, 1989-January 3, 1993). Was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Third Congress. Is a resident of Deland, Fla.
