Deputy state director and state director to United States Senator Cory A. Booker 2014-2019. Chief of staff to New Jersey governor Phil Murphy 2019-2023. Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey 2023-. Corporate executive. Appointed as a Democrat to the United States Senate on August 23, 2024, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Robert Menendez. Took the oath of office on September 9, 2024, and served from August 23, 2024, until his resignation on December 8, 2024. Was not a candidate for election to the full term.
