Biography
A Representative from New York. Born in Corning, Steuben County, N. Y. , August 7, 1926. Graduated from St. Paul's School, Concord, N. H. , 1945. B. A. , Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. , 1950. M. B. A. , Harvard Business School, Cambridge, Mass. , 1952. United States Marine Corps, 1945-1946. Business executive. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundredth and to the eight succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1987-January 3, 2005). Not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Ninth Congress in 2004. Died on March 4, 2020, in Corning, N. Y.
