David L. Hobson

A. , Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, Ohio, 1958. J. D. , Ohio State College of Law, Columbus, 1963. Ohio Air National Guard, 1958-1963. Member of the Ohio state senate, 1982-1990, president pro tempore, 1988-1990. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Second and to the eight succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1991-January 3, 2009). Was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Eleventh Congress in 2008. Died on October 6, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio.
