Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Thirteenth Congress and to the three succeeding Congresses until his resignation on September 30, 2019 (January 3, 2013-September 30, 2019). Convicted on January 16, 2020, of conspiracy and making false statements. Full pardon granted by President Donald J. Trump on December 22, 2020.
