A bill to prohibit the circumvention of control measures used by Internet retailers to ensure equitable consumer access to products, and for other purposes.

This bill prohibits the circumvention (e.g., via bot technology) of a website's security measure or technological control for enforcing posted purchasing limits or for managing inventory. A person may not sell a product if the person knows that the product was acquired using such circumvention.
