Designates June 2015 as National Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Month and June 27, 2015, as National Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Day.
Supports efforts of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense, as well as the medical community, to educate members of the Armed Forces, veterans, their families, and the public about the causes, symptoms, and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) injuries.
Encourages Armed Forces commanders to support appropriate treatment of personnel diagnosed with PTSD.
