Recognizing the innumerable contributions of the recreational boating community and the boating industry to the continuing prosperity and affluence of the United States.

Commends the recreational boating community and the U.S. boating industry for their contributions to the economy, the well-being of U.S. citizens, and responsible environmental stewardship of marine resources.

Urges the President to issue a proclamation calling for the observation of National Boating Day.
