A bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to authorize disability retirement to be granted posthumously for members of the Armed Forces who die in the line of duty while on active duty, and for other purposes.
Authorizes: (1) the Secretary of the military department concerned to posthumously grant disability retirement for individuals who die in the line of duty while on active duty; and (2) the payment of an annuity to the dependent survivors of such individuals under the Survivor Benefit Plan.
