Summary

Designates the Federal lands added to the Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 7373 of November 9, 2000, as the Craters of the Moon National Preserve. Requires such Preserve to be administered in accordance with such Proclamation, the Antiquities Act, and other laws generally applicable to national park lands, except that the Secretary of the Interior: (1) shall permit hunting on such lands in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws; and (2) may designate zones where, and establish periods when, no hunting may be permitted for reasons of public safety, protection of the area's resources, administration, or public use and enjoyment.
