To amend title 10, United States Code, to index for inflation the amount of the death gratuity paid upon the death of a member of the Armed Forces on active duty.

Requires the death gratuity paid upon the active-duty death of a member of the armed forces to be increased at the same time and by the same percentage that military retired and retainer pay is increased for a cost-of-living adjustment.
