Business Method Patent Improvement Act of 2001 - Amends Federal law to add patent procedures for patents on business method inventions. Defines a "business method" as: (1) a method of processing data or performing calculation operations which is uniquely designed for or utilized in the practice, administration, or management of an enterprise; (2) any technique used in athletics, instruction, or personal skills; and (3) any computer-assisted implementation of such methods or techniques.
