To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to permit the admission to the United States of nonimmigrant students and visitors who are the spouses and children of United States permanent resident aliens, and for other purposes.
Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide for the temporary visitor or student admission of certain alien spouses or children of U.S. permanent resident aliens.
States that a petition for permanent resident classification filed on behalf of such alien shall not constitute evidence of intent to abandon a foreign residence.
