Recognizing ironworkers for their service in the rescue and recovery efforts in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.
Expresses the sense of Congress that thousands of union ironworkers from New York City, and across North America, were instrumental in the emergency response operations in New York City and Virginia in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001, and as a result, the Nation owes a debt of gratitude for the service given by these men and women of the Iron Workers International Union.
