Getting started

The app requires a LegiList API key. The free tier gives you 1,000 requests per day — more than enough for research and exploration.

Run the installer above. No admin rights required — installs to your user profile.

Get a free API key

Create a free LegiList API account. Your key is ready immediately after email verification.

Paste your key and go

Open the app, paste your API key in Settings, and start searching federal data immediately.

Six search panels, each with filters, sortable results, and full detail views.

  • Bills — Search by congress, type, chamber, keyword, or sponsor
  • Legislators — Filter by congress, chamber, party, or state
  • Votes — Browse roll calls with member-by-member results
  • Laws — Find enacted legislation and trace it back to the bill
  • Committees — Browse committees with member listings
  • Topics — Navigate subject-based bill groupings
All results can be exported to CSV, Excel, or PDF directly from the app.
