Summary

This bill would authorize firefighters employed by the State Forestry Division of the Office of State Lands and Investments or by any other agency to participate in the state retirement system as a law enforcement or firefighter member. This bill would provide an appropriation for retirement system contributions and requires the Office of State Lands and Investments and the Wyoming Retirement Board to promulgate all necessary rules. This bill would also allow firefighters to elect to continue participation in the state retirement system as a general member.
