Summary

Department of Education; individualized education programs; social skills development. Requires the Department of Education to establish guidelines for individualized education program (IEP) teams to indicate whether a child has a disability that affects social skills development and whether the child is vulnerable to bullying, harassment, or teasing. The bill directs the Department to promulgate regulations requiring local school boards to develop and implement neurodivergence and autism awareness student education programs.
