Summary

Charter; City of Lexington. Amends the charter for the City of Lexington by replacing a requirement that the city manager reside in the city with a provision allowing the city council to make such determination. The bill also provides that the city attorney shall serve at the pleasure of the city council for an indefinite term, amends outdated provisions related to a formerly appointed school board, and updates or clarifies several other provisions of the charter.
