Summary

Killing of deer damaging fruit trees, crops, livestock, plants, or personal property. Allows an owner or lessee of land that sees a deer in the act of causing damage to fruit trees, crops, livestock, plants, or personal property on his land to kill the deer damaging the fruit trees, crops, livestock, plants, or personal property without an authorization from the Director of Wildlife Resources or his designee. The bill requires such owner or lessee to immediately report the killing of the deer to the Director or his designee and comply with all local ordinances, including those regulating the discharge of firearms.
