AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 73-7-19, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY AND BARBERING TO ALLOW, ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, A LICENSEE WHOSE LICENSE IS NOT RENEWED WITHIN THREE YEARS AFTER THE EXPIRATION DATE OF THE LICENSE TO RENEW HIS OR HER LICENSE WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE THE EXAMINATION, IF THE LICENSE HAS NOT BEEN EXPIRED FOR MORE THAN FIVE YEARS AND THE LICENSEE MEETS CERTAIN OTHER CONDITIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
