This act: (1) amends Section 12-19-290, Code of Alabama 1975, to add providing for the general operation of state courts as determined by the Administrative Director of Courts to the permissible uses of the Administrative Office of Courts Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund; and (2) establishes the Supreme Court Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund, Court of Civil Appeals Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund, and the Court of Criminal Appeals Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund in the State Treasury to consist of fees associated with the appellate court case management system, legislative appropriation, and transfers from the Administrative Office of Courts Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund to be expended by each respective court for administration of justice activities.
