Summary

This act proposes an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 2022, relating to Covington County to: (1) authorize and provide procedures for the sheriff to sell abandoned or stolen personal property and firearms; (2) provide for the auction or destruction of such property; (3) provide for the disposition of proceeds; and (4) provide for reclamation of the property by the owner.
