D. , Loyola University, New Orleans, La. , 1967. Admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1967. Lawyer, private practice. Engaged in private practice of law in Arabi and Chalmette, La. , 1967-1976. Member of the Louisiana state house of representatives, 1976. Elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-fifth Congress and served until his resignation on May 4, 1977 (January 3, 1977-May 4, 1977). Unsuccessful candidate for nomination in the special election to fill the vacancy caused by his resignation in the Ninety-fifth Congress. Unsuccessful candidate for the Louisiana state house of representatives, 1983. Resumed the practice of law. Died in Lumberton, Miss. On July 3, 2012.
