Member, Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, Akron, Ohio, 1964-1970. Elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-second and to the seven succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1971-January 3, 1987). Was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundredth Congress in 1986. Faculty, University of Akron Law School, 1992-1996. Died on August 2, 2008, in Akron, Ohio.
