Certified public accountant. Utah State Auditor, 1973-1976. Lieutenant governor of Utah, 1977-1984. Elected as a Republican to the Ninety-ninth Congress (January 3, 1985-January 3, 1987). Was not a candidate for reelection in 1986. Business executive involved in international trade and recycling paper. Is a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah.
