Attended the University of Florida, Gainesville, 1961. B. A. , Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, 1966. Teacher, Palm Beach, Fla. , and Montgomery County, Md. , 1966-1968. Administrative assistant to Rep. Paul G. Rogers, 1968-1978. Elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-sixth and to the four succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1979-January 3, 1989). Was not a candidate for reelection in 1988 but was an unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the United States Senate. Is a resident of West Palm Beach, Fla.
